An exquisite stipple engraving from the "Nouvelle Edition" of Traité des Arbres Fruitiers by the renowned French botanist Henri-Louis Duhamel du Monceau (1700-1782). The print features a delicate botanical study of fruits or nuts, rendered with the meticulous detail and supple color-printed textures that defined the golden age of French botanical illustration.

Circa 1807-1835, this original period work belongs to the celebrated expanded edition produced by the printer Langlois in Paris.

Stipple engraving on paper, presented in a frame and showing the gentle, natural toning of an authentic antique. Rooted in the Neoclassical tradition, this piece reflects the early 19th century’s scientific curiosity and the era's refined artistic dedication to documenting the beauty of the natural world.
