Silenius is the companion of Dionysous. He is the oldest, wisest and drunkest of the satyrs. He is also the one that gave king Midas his golden touch. The original bronze would be 2000 years old. Copies were sold to wealthy tourists visiting Italy. This bronze was made about 1880. Condition: Good, new wiring, nice patina
