Mirrors

A very good mirror is a fraction of the cost of a good painting. Mirrors add light, texture, volume and interest to a room. Ancient mirrors were highly polished metal. Last I heard, glass mirrors were developed in Venice, Italy in the 1600's. An exceptional expensive luxury purchase early mirrors were fairly small.  I have trouble imaging a better way to brighten your room.
