A pair of bespoke Etruscan armchairs by the influential American designer John Dickinson (1920-1982), whose work seamlessly blended ancient forms with a modern, whimsical sensibility. These iconic chairs feature sculptural frames raised on carved animal legs, showcasing the chic and idiosyncratic style that established Dickinson as a leading figure in 20th century California design.

Circa 1980, these original period pieces were created during the decade when Dickinson’s furniture became highly coveted by collectors for its unique character.
