Circa 1900 Louis XVI Style Painted Wood and Marble Gueridon or Table, Sweden

A well carved painted Louis XVI–style gueridon (small round table) inset with marble. Made in Sweden, circa 1900. The painted surface is older in a warm cream tone. The marble is mottled white/grey with dark green veins. Tables like these are particularly useful in a smaller entry as a center table. Useful as a stand for some sculpture. Useful as side tables.
