A very unusual pair of boat shaped footed bowls in hand worked copper with brass appliques of deities and auspicious symbols. Each end with a "monster" in brass with blue inset eyes with mouths holding twisted copper rope to serve as possible hangers. This part of Asia, through the Czarist period had strong traditions of Buddhism and Animism. Not much survives as collectivization required the destruction of artifacts and the discontinuation of religious practices.
