A very nicely proportioned and carved Louis XVI cherry biblioteque, book case or cabinet made in France circa 1780. We love the arched top, the color, patina and steel hardware. Pieces like these are great for storage and are often built out to hold elaborate entertainment systems. It is not unusual to see panels of fabric behind the wire grill.
