This work was created in Northern India and was part of a manuscript. Often work like this was used to help teach a story to people that could not read. These are prized for their rarity, color and fine drawing. This work depicts a the God Krishna and his consort Lakshmi with attendants in a garden. We believe this dates to about 1850 but could be earlier.
